Hambantota District Parliamentarian Hon. Ruwan Senarath, who was recently sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government, officially assumed his duties today 28.11.2024 at the Ministry. The event was graced by the presence of the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Hon. Professor Chandana Abeyratne.

In his address to senior Ministry officials, the Deputy Minister emphasized the need for reforms aimed at making public institutions more service-oriented and accessible to the public. The ceremony was also attended by Hambantota District Parliamentarian Hon. Prabath Pinnawala, Ministry Secretary Mr. S. Aloka Bandara, and other key Ministry officials.
