Works of the Project on Construction of the First Floor of the Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha were commenced on 26.07.2024 under the patronage of Hon. Janaka Wakkumbura, State Minister for Provincial Councils and Local Government incurring an expenditure of Rs.60 million by the Local Loans and Development Fund for delivery of services with quality and efficiency.

A group of public officers including former Members of the Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha namely the Chairman and Vice Chairman and former members including the Chairman of Kolonna Pradeshiya Sabha and Members and the Divisional Secretary of the Embilipitiya Pradeshiya Sabha participated in this event.
