The revenue of the local government institutions has decreased due to non-performance of property assessment and the rates assessment to be carried out in the local authorities in a timely manner. Accordingly, a discussion was held on the measures to be taken for updating the relevant assessments at 1.30 p.m. on 14.02.2022 under the leadership of the Secretary of this Ministry and the Chief Valuer and with the participation of Additional Secretary (Provincial Councils and Local Government), Senior Assistant Secretary (Provincial Councils), Deputy Chief Valuer and Additional Chief Valuer of Department of Valuation and the Commissioners of Local Government at the Department of Valuation.
