The Dengue prevention programs were held on 20 and 21 of January 2022 in coordination with the all local government institutions in Sri Lanka by the State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs under the guidance of Hon. State Minister, Roshan Ranasinghe. The all local authorities in the Districts such as Jaffna, Mullativu, Killinochchi, Vauniya and Mannar have actively participated for this program representing the Northern Province. A successful Dengue prevention program was implemented with the assistance of Assistant Local Government Commissioners, heads of local authorities, members, officers of public institutions, numerous groups including school children and general public as per the instructions given by Local Government Commissioner in Northern Province, Patrick Niranjan.
