As per the instructions of Hon. State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs, Roshan Ranasinghe, the construction of Narammala new Pradeshiya Sabha building and the multipurpose building was expedited by the utilization of the funds of Puranaguma Project of State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs and Pradeshiya sabha.

An amount of Rs.92 million has been spent for that and the constructions have been commenced in 2018.This covers 62,736 beneficiaries living in 54 divisional secretariat divisions. This multipurpose building consists of a library, e-library, and Aurvedic medical Centre, office, auditorium and assembly hall.
This Narammala new Pradeshiya Sabha building and multipurpose building was opened at 10.00 a.m. on 05.03.2022 under the patronage of Hon. Prime Minister, Mahinda Rajapaksha and with the participation of Hon. Minister of Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Janaka Bandara Tennakoon, Chief Government Whip and Hon. Minister of Highways, Jonstan Fernando, Hon. Governor of North West and former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet, Wasantha Karannagoda, Chairman, Narammala Pradeshiya Sabha Mr, D.M.Sumanasiri and Vice Chairman, mr, P.M.Manjula Polgampola.
