It was planned to conduct a capacity development program for the youths through the local authorities by targeting the foreign exchange crisis and the unemployment which Sri Lanka presently faces. It has been scheduled to enhance the understanding on foreign employment of the youth through the local authorities, to provide the training  opportunities, and to introduce the training programs for the fulfillment of the qualifications which are required by the foreign countries. A  preliminary discussion on that was held on 04th March 2022 under the guidance of Hon. State Minister, Roshan Ranasinghe and  under the patronage of the Secretary of State Ministry Of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs ,Mr. W.M.M.B.Weerasekara. The officers representing Foreign Employment Bureau and Vocational Training and Education Institutes had participated for this event.
