Nowadays Dengue disease is increasing again and we all should be responsible for not development it up to a pandemic. More than 25,900 Dengue patients had been reported in the previous year and there were 19 deaths out of them.
The State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs has already taken steps to be implemented a Dengue Prevention Program in island wide called “Clean Environment- Healthy Tomorrow” on 20 and 21.01.2022 for prevention Dengue becoming to a pandemic situation on the instructions of Roshan Ranasinghe, Hon. State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs.
This program will be implemented in cooperation with all government ministries, all provincial councils, local government institutions, all public institutions, all private institutions and non-governmental organizations.
Its inaugural ceremony is due to be held at 10.00 a.m. on 20th January 2022 at the premises of Kotte Municipal Council with the participation of the ministers including Roshan Ranasinghe, Hon .State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs.
