The Sri Lanka Institute of Local Governance (SLILG), operating under the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, invites applications for the registration of qualified Resource Persons for the year 2025. Selected experts will contribute to the delivery of lectures, training, and module development for Diploma, Certificate, and Short-Term Training Courses in the Provincial Councils and Local Government sector.
Areas of expertise include Local Government Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Environmental Protection, Local Government Law, Political Science, and related fields.
In addition, SLILG welcomes applications for its Second International Conference – 2025. We are seeking qualified individuals for the following roles:
- Two Professors (local or international) specializing in local governance
- A qualified Research Resource Person
- An experienced Conference Coordinator
- A Communication and IT Coordinator with international conference experience
Application Deadline: 31 July 2025
All applications should be sent via registered post to the Director, SLILG, with the appropriate title ("Registration of Resource Persons – 2025" or "Application for the International Conference – 2025") clearly marked on the top left corner of the envelope.
