On the instructions of the State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs, Roshan Ranasinghe, other successful step of granting the permanent title certificates to the people of Pollanaruwa District those who had suffered without ownership of lands since long time was implemented yesterday by giving them the permanent solutions for the issues.
The state Minister of Provincial Council and Local Government, Roshan Ranasinghe had said that I have been striving to grant them a permanent ownership of the land within their life time when he was the state minister of lands, before that and presently also. Accordingly, the action has been taken to grant 1000 title certificates to the families.
The State Minister Further said that the action will be taken to expeditiously provide the permanent solutions for the issues related to the ownership of lands of the other families who haven’t permanent ownership of a land.
Member of Parliament, President of District Coordination Committee, Amarakeerthi Athukorala, Poolananuruwa Mayor Hon. Shalith Sidath Ranasinghe, Pollanaruwa District Secretary, W.A. Dharmasiri, Thamankaduwa,Higurakkagoda Divisional Secretary, Harsha Bandara, Higurakkadoda, and Poolanaruwa Assistant Divisional Secretary and Senior Surveyor Superintendents, Land Commissioner, Assistant Secretary of Land Title Settlement Department , Grama Nilaradhari, public officers and youths had participated for this event.
