An island-wide Dengue Prevention Program is implemented on 20 and 21 of January 2022 in all over Sri Lanka on the guidance of Roshan Ranasinghe, Hon. State Minister of Provincial Councils Local Government Affairs. Its inaugural program was conducted in this Ministry on 20th January 2022 under the patronage of Mr. W.M.M.B. Weerasekara, Secretary of State Ministry of Provincial Councils and local Government Affairs. The staff of the Ministry keenly participated for this campaign to clean the dengue mosquito breeding sites in the premises. The all public institutions including all local government institutions, provincial councils, schools, hospitals and police stations in Sri Lanka had participated for this program.
