The ceremonial beginning of the new year 2019 was held with the leadership of the Hon. Minister Wajira Abewardhana and participation of the Hon. State Minister H.M.M. Harees on January 01st 2019 at Ministry premises after religious blessings by Venerable and Reverence Religious Priests of all four Religions.

Government Servants Oath/Pledge taken place subsequently. This was read by both Sinhala and Tamil languages. Thereafter speeches of Hon. State Minister, Hon. Minister and Secretary of the Ministry were held. They wishes all the employees of the Ministry.

Afterwards all were enjoyed a tea party arranged at the Auditorium of the Ministry.
